Nikki Levy Interiors in the Industry Spotlight

I started Nikki Levy Interiors at my kitchen table in 2012.

Thirteen years later we’re a full design studio working across Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Palm Beach, and taking on projects as far away as San Diego. All of it built around one idea. Exquisitely Livable Luxury.

This whole thing still feels like chasing a dream. Every little bit of it gets me more excited for the next one.

Why I Show Up

I stay this involved because everything I learn out there comes home with me. It ends up in your walls, your furniture, your finishes.

There are craftsmen so boutique, so far off the beaten path, most designers never find them. They find us instead, because we show up. We’ve flown to Ecuador on an Adriana Hoyos design trip and stood in the workshop watching furniture get built by hand, seeing exactly how a piece comes together before it ever reaches a client’s home.

We come back better business people. Better technicians. Better at knowing what we’re actually asking a craftsman to do.

That’s the real reason. It’s also just plain fun.

Showhouses

Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach selected me in 2022, and again in 2025. That still feels like a big deal every time the call comes in. For 2025 I created the Atelier Botanica stair and gallery installation, and VERANDA and Interior Design both covered it. Luxe Interiors + Design has featured the work too. I’ve also taken part in Holiday House.

Nobody hands me a brief for these rooms. No budget conversation, no client walk-through, just the chance to push a concept as far as I want it to go (basically my version of a vacation, if a vacation involved fabric samples and a deadline).

On the Market Floor

KBIS. High Point Market. Coverings in Las Vegas. New York Design Center. Design Edge. This is where a designer’s eye actually gets trained, walking the floor, touching every material, arguing with a rep about a finish. A room starts here, long before a client ever sees it.

We don’t just walk those floors to keep up. More often, we’re the ones setting what everyone else ends up chasing.

Speaking and Panels

I’ve spoken and sat on panels at KBIS more times than I can count now, including The Custom Kitchen Conversation: Designing Kitchens as Personal Statements, and I was selected to speak at the Luxury Lounge at KBIS 2026. I show up for NKBA too, and for panels through Fabuwood, Adriana Hoyos, iDesign Lab, Design Edge, and Coverings.

Partnerships and Product

I don’t put my name on a product I wouldn’t spec myself. That’s the rule behind every one of these.

We have a named furniture collection with Abner Henry, and I collaborated with Ngala Trading on the WNWN table. My Draped Desk got its own coverage in Architectural Digest when it showed at High Point Market this past spring. I’ve also worked directly with Fabuwood, Made Goods, Romo, Omexco, Kravet, Phillip Jeffries, Currey & Co, Artistic Tile and Benjamin Moore on beautiful show-spaces, which is always a dream.

All of it feeds into MADE. by Nikki Levy, the product line I’ve built next to the design work. Furniture, rugs, lighting, pottery, accessories. The rug side has grown into its own thing, including our RuggleUp collection.

An Honor

I’m being honored at the inaugural NEDCON conference gala this year, and I am thrilled. My team earned that right alongside me.

Generally speaking…

Florida Decor put us on the cover for their June/July 2026 issue, and I still catch myself smiling about it. Add that to features and coverage in Architectural Digest, VERANDA, Interior Design, Luxe Interiors + Design, Boca Observer, and Simply the Best. We contribute to design articles regularly too, sourcing questions, material breakdowns, the things other designers actually want to know.

There’s an eight-page spread on the way in a book featuring Florida designers. And separately, I’m working on a second book, this one about the business and operational side of running a creative firm. The design is only half of what actually holds a studio like this together.

Design looks like a solo act from the outside. It isn’t. I’m part of IDC, the Interior Design Community, run by Laurie Laizure, a group of designers who actually show up for each other.

Every one of these rooms, from Boca Raton to San Diego, gets a little better because of all of it. I’m not chasing a finish line here. I’m just excited for whatever’s next.
